Inflatable Raiding Craft

Inflatable rubber raiding craft are small enough to be airdropped or deployed from submarines. The boats are fitted with compressed air cylinders for rapid inflation. A rigid deck can be fitted to some models. Inflatables are usually powered by outboard diesel motors. Paddles are also carried, not just in case of engine failure but also to allow a quieter approach to shore.
