[VT Halmatic]

The Artctic 28 from VT Halmatic is a RIB used by the SBS for Maritime Counter Terrorism and ship boarding duties. The 8.5 meter long Arctic 28 holds up to 10 men on saddle-seats. Arctic 28s are powered by 2x200/250hp outboard motors. Top speed is 50+ knots. Maximum range is 200 Nautical Miles. Weapons, ship-boarding equipment (such as boarding poles/ladders), navigation & communications gear can be installed / mounted as per operational requirements. Their sturdy GRP hulls mean that Arctic 28s can be dropped out to sea by helicopter or parachuted from C130s.
